| dc.description.abstract | Este estágio teve como objetivo aquisição de experiência técnica na produção de: peru, pato, frango, pintada, poedeiras comerciais recriadas para fornecimento da avicultura familiar. Tendo como principal enfoco o acompanhamento do maneio diário de frango de corte e execução de tarefas inerentes. Tendo também como objetivo acompanhamento da fileira de produção de frangos de carne desde a chagada dos ovos ao centro de incubação até a saída dos frangos dos pavilhões, fazendo uma avaliação dos parâmetros reprodutivos e de crescimento. Este trabalho foi realizado num período de 8 meses na Sociedade Avícola Picamilho, SA, localizado no conselho de Tondela. Numa primeira fase fizemos o acompanhamento da incubação de ovos e posterior avaliação da qualidade do pinto do dia, baseando no aspeto físico do pinto. Em seguida fizemos o acompanhamento do maneio de bandos com aptidão para carne em três criadores integrados na Picamilho, fazendo uma avaliação de parâmetros de crescimento tais como ganho de peso semanal, ingestão alimentar, índice de conversão. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This internship aimed to acquire technical experience in the production of: turkey, duck, chicken, guinea fowl, commercial laying hens recreated to supply the family poultry farm. Having as main focus the accompaniment of the daily management of broilers and the execution of inherent tasks. Having also as objective the follow up of the broilers production line since the arrival of the eggs to the hatchery until the departure of the broilers from the houses, making an evaluation of the reproduction and growth parameters. This work was carried out over a period of 8 months in Sociedade Avícola Picamilho, SA, located in the municipality of Tondela. In a first phase we monitored the incubation of eggs and subsequent evaluation of the quality of the day-old chick, based on the physical appearance of the chick. Afterwards, we monitored the management of flocks with meat aptitude in three breeders integrated in Picamilho, evaluating growth parameters such as weekly weight gain, feed intake, conversion rate. | pt_PT |
