estudo, e onde a Associação Live With Earth realiza missão
social. Colocam-se então questões de investigação: como
potenciar a conservação e valorização da natureza?;
Naturais; os processos validados e os projetos realizados;
Modelo de Inovação Social “Ciclos de Investigação em
Design : Pigmentos Naturais & Eco-Artes” e sua edição
piloto em 2023; novas teorias para a cor, mente e sociedade;
nova visão “Serlumen – Ação Consciente Além do
concretizada no decurso desta investigação.
Looking at the crises that global civilization is going through, some concerns arise such as: at the environmental level – climate change, the local practices that contribute to it, and to the imbalances of natural ecosystems; at the social level – the lack of strategic vision and sustainable development initiatives in rural areas; at the economic level – the lack of circular economy initiatives and value creation models in rural areas. The context of observation takes place in Cadriceira (Torres Vedras), and in the Socorro and Archeira Mountains, where the natural pigments come from, the central object of this study, and where the Live With Earth Association carries out its social mission. Research questions are then raised: how to enhance the conservation and enhancement of nature?; Can we position natural pigments as a local cultural reference?; How to develop value creation models in rural areas? Through Circular Design and Social Innovation, the purpose is to investigate the potential use of natural pigments in the areas of Eco-Design, Eco-Arts, Eco-Construction, Education and Social Entrepreneurship. Different methodologies were used for this: Experiments & Prototypes; Transdisciplinary Methodology of Divergence-Convergence and Ethnographic Studies. The data obtained guarantees: the validation of the tests and the quality of the natural pigments; the contributions of integrated knowledge in the production of new knowledge, and the confrmation responses of the positive impact we have made since 2017. The main contributions are: Manual for the Use of Natural Pigments; the processes validated and the projects carried out; Social Innovation Model "Design Research Cycles: Natural Pigments & Eco-Arts" and its pilot edition in 2023; new theories for color, mind, and society; new vision "Serlumen – Conscious Action Beyond the Anthropocene"; circular design of a Value Creation Model in Rural Environment, and all the scientific production carried out in the course of this research.
