Abstract(s)
O presente estudo, foi desenvolvido em contexto de estágio, em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino
Básico, mais precisamente numa turma de 3.º ano do Ensino Básico e refletiu um percurso
de investigação que explora estratégias de aprendizagens em grupo.
Trata-se de perceber de que forma a metodologia do trabalho de grupo contribuiu para as
aprendizagens dos alunos. Esta experiência foi centrada no aluno que tem um papel ativo
no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
Os principais objetivos desta investigação foram: analisar práticas do trabalho de grupo
em sala de aula; compreender como os alunos interagiam entre si; perceber de que forma
o trabalho de grupo contribuiu para a aquisição de aprendizagens; fazer um balanço das
potencialidades e desvantagens desta metodologia.
Este estudo, do ponto de vista metodológico, insere-se numa abordagem qualitativa. Os
dados foram recolhidos através de questionários; observação e análise de documentos
iniciais aos alunos e à professora titular e à observação dos trabalhos desenvolvidos em
grupo.
Em termos gerais os dados obtidos revelaram que o trabalho de grupo contribuiu de forma
positiva para as aprendizagens dos alunos permitindo desenvolver a cooperação e
interação entre os alunos. O estudo possibilitou uma reflexão sobre a metodologia do
trabalho de grupo e no papel da aprendizagem cooperativa entre os alunos.
The present study was developed on a Primary Education internship environment, specifically on a 3rd grade class, and it reflects the journey of investigating the strategies of group learning. It aims to explain in what way the method of group leaning impacts the education of students. This experience is centered in the student, who plays a vital role in the teaching learning process. The main goals of this investigation were: analyze group practices in a real class room atmosphere; understand how students interact between themselves; realize in what way working as a group contributes to the gaining of new skills and learning; balance out the advantages and disadvantages of this practice. This study, from a methodologic point of view, it’s a qualitative approach. The data was collected through quizzes, observation and analysis of students, teacher, and the development of group projects. As an overall view, the collected data showed that group learning contributes positively to students’ education, allowing cooperation and interaction between them. This study allows us to reflect about the methodology of group learning and about its role on the students’ education.
