Abstract(s)
A realização deste projeto tem como objetivo geral analisar as condições de segurança e
saúde no trabalho na realização de trabalhos em altura, na construção de edifícios. Como
objetivos específicos foram definidos elaborar uma análise estatística sobre acidentes de
trabalho ocorridos em trabalhos em altura, na construção de edifícios, na construção civil, na
organização objeto de estudo, e no campo nacional e internacional; elaborar um levantamento
de tipos de trabalhos em altura, na construção de edifícios; analisar a perceção do risco de
trabalho em altura dos trabalhadores diretamente ligados aos trabalhos em altura,
pertencentes à organização objeto de estudo; elaborar um guia de segurança e saúde no
trabalho para trabalhos em altura, na construção de edifícios. Como pergunta de partida foi
definida: É possível realizar em segurança os trabalhos em altura na construção de edifícios,
tais como montagem de andaimes de fachada, trabalhos em coberturas de edifícios, trabalhos
de cofragem de lajes, pilares, muros, paredes e betonagens? O método de investigação
utilizado neste estudo foi o método de investigação-ação através de um estudo de caso
realizado numa empreitada de construção de edifícios. Como principais conclusões é possível
referir que é possível realizar em segurança os trabalhos em altura na construção de edifícios
se forem tomadas medidas de controlo adequadas, direcionadas e eficazes à especificidade
do trabalho em altura, nomeadamente montagem de andaimes de fachada, trabalhos em
coberturas de edifícios, trabalhos de cofragem de lajes, pilares, muros, paredes e betonagens
através de planeamento adequado, alocação de recursos adequados de natureza diversa
desde humanos a materiais.
The main goal of carrying out this project is to analyze occupational health and safety conditions when carrying out work at heights in the construction of buildings. Specific goals were defined to develop a statistical analysis on work accidents occurring when working at heights, in the buildings construction, in civil engineering, in the company under study, and in the national and international fields; prepare a survey of types of works at height in the construction of buildings; analyze the perception of the risk of working at heights of workers directly related to working at heights, belonging to the company under study; prepare an occupational health and safety guide to work at heights in the construction of buildings. Is it possible to safely carry out work at heights in the construction of buildings, such as assembling facade scaffolding, work on building roofs, formwork work on slabs, pillars, walls and concreting? So the starting question was defined. The research method used in this study was the action research method through a case study carried out in a building construction site. The main conclusions are that it is possible to safely carry out work at height in the construction of buildings if appropriated, targeted and effective control measures are taken to the specificity of work at height, namely assembly of facade scaffolding, work on building roofs, formwork work on slabs, pillars, walls and concreting through proper planning, allocation of adequate resources of several types, from human to material.
