O presente relatório de estágio reflete o percurso formativo e pessoal desenvolvido no âmbito do 7º Mestrado em Enfermagem em Associação na área de Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica, incindindo no desenvolvimento de competências comuns e especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica, bem como nas competências de mestre em Enfermagem, e subordinado ao tema: O papel do Enfermeiro Especialista em saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica em contexto de visita domiciliária numa Unidade de Cuidados na Comunidade.
Assim, é apresentado a caracterização do local de estágio, onde foram desenvolvidas as referidas competências e feita a descrição e reflexão da intervenções do enfermeiro, com base no processo de enfermagem e nas suas etapas de diagnostico, planeamento, implementação e avaliação, de forma a, por um lado salvaguardar a prática baseada na evidencia, sempre pela melhoria dos cuidados atingindo a excelência da prática e por outro lado os ganhos em saúde para todos os intervenientes (utente, família, comunidade e unidade hospitalar).
Como desafio, foi proposto a realização de um artigo científico (scoping review), uma vez que existe pouca literatura científica para consolidar a importância do tema que iremos defender.
Os contributos angariados neste estágio, permitem dar visibilidade ao papel do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica em contexto de visita domiciliária, na forma como promove a autonomia da pessoa com doença mental, como intervém na educação da doença, sinais e sintomas e identificação de recaídas, na educação para a saúde na gestão e adesão da medicação e na manutenção das atividades de vida diárias e instrumentais

This internship report reflects the training and personal path developed within the scope of the 7th Master's Degree in Nursing in Association in the area of Specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, focusing on the development of common and specific competences of the Specialist Nurse in Mental Health and Psychiatric, as well as the competences of a Master in Nursing, and subordinated to the theme: The role of the Specialist Nurse in Mental Health and Psychiatric in the context of home visits in a Community Care Unit. A description and reflection of the nurse's interventions is presented, based on the nursing process and its stages of diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, in order to, on the one hand, safeguard evidence-based practice, always for the improvement of care, achieving excellence in practice and, on the other hand, health gains for all those involved (patient, family, community and hospital unit). As a challenge, it was proposed to write a scientific article (scoping review), since there is little scientific literature to consolidate the importance of the topic we will be defending. The contributions made during this internship allow us to give visibility to the role of the Specialist Mental Health and Psychiatric Nurse in the context of home visits, in the way they promote the autonomy of people with mental illness, how they intervene in the education of the illness, signs and symptoms and identification of relapses, in health education, in the management and adherence to medication and in the maintenance of activities of daily living and instrumental activities.
