Abstract(s)
complicações respiratórias associadas a cirurgia abdominal, possuindo o EEER competências
submetida a cirurgia abdominal.
permitiu desenvolver as competências do EEER.
Neuman.
The number of surgical interventions has been increasing in the last few years and is related to the increased incidence of chronic diseases and oncological procedures, which are influenced by the lifestyles and health behaviors adopted. With the increasing volume of surgeries, complications associated with the surgical procedure may be preventable, for example in scheduled surgeries, through appropriate and programmed health care. Post-operative respiratory complications have a significant impact on the recovery of the person undergoing abdominal surgery and their quality of life, increasing morbidity and mortality, hospital admission times and associated costs. Respiratory therapy presents proven benefits in the prevention and treatment of respiratory complications associated with abdominal surgery. Associating a Nurse practitioner specialized in Nursing Rehabilitation, makes it possible to intervene by using individualized respiratory therapy programs personalized to the needs of each person. Within the framework of the Master Degree in Nursing specialized in the area of Rehabilitation Nursing, the theme developed was the respiratory therapy in the pre- and post operative of the person undergoing abdominal surgery. During this journey I outlined a training project in order to put in practice the thematic in the in internship contexts, culminating in the preparation of this report describing the activities developed and the reflective path that allowed the development of the Nurse Specialized in Nursing Rehabilitation competences. Nursing theory was also mobilized for the elaboration and implementation of nursing rehabilitation care based on Betty Neuman’s theoretical framework.
