| dc.description.abstract | This thesis applies the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology to the Pandur II armou red vehicle, complemented by the Delphi methodology, to assess and compare the impact of different operating environments, including the National Territory, the Central African Republic and Romania. The study aims to improve the reliability and availability of the vehicle by critically reviewing and updating the manufacturer’s existing maintenance plan. Corrective work orders from 2009 to 2024 were collected and thoroughly analysed to calculate the Mean Time Between Failures for various vehicle components. A sensitivity analysis of the Mean Time to Repair was conducted to evaluate the conditions necessary to achieve the target availability of 90% for the Pandur II fleet. The results showed that an MTTR of no more than 4 hours is required to achieve this operational objective. Based on these analyses, the study proposes significant changes to the current maintenance plan, including the introduction of new maintenance tasks and adjustments to the frequency of existing tasks. The Delphi methodology was integral throughout the RCM implementation process, providing valida tion for proposed maintenance tasks and estimated values that could not be derived through objective metrics. | por |
