Abstract(s)
This report, prepared within the scope of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Nursing for the Person in Perioperative Situation, intends to document the path and activities developed in the internship of a professional nature with a report of Module II, with a view to the acquisition and development of advanced skills, of a predominantly clinical nature, with a focus on human responses to health problems and life processes, associated with the perioperative situation, with a view to highlighting the contribution of nursing care to the health gains of the population in this matter . The path analyzed here had the purpose of developing skills related to specialized nursing interventions in providing care to clients undergoing Shoulder Arthroscopy. It is based on the common and specific competences of the specialist nurse in medical-surgical nursing, in the person in a perioperative situation and is based on the description of experiences, activities and specialized interventions in nursing developed in favor of clients undergoing Shoulder Arthroscopy. Two case studies are also described, referring to the different moments of the internship, covering the pre, intra and postoperative period, elaborated on the E4nursing platform, and which translate a particular and detailed reflection on the nursing care for each of these procedures. A deficit of nursing representation was identified in the data from the Nursing Information and Documentation System (SIDE) for the systematic collection of information, which allows the definition of health aspects sensitive to perioperative nursing care, which shows its contribution to the gains in population health. Thus, the design of care for the perioperative client is a challenge for all nurses who intend to develop skills in the field of perioperative nursing. The solution found was to outline a strategy that allows obtaining answers from the existing literature, clinical practice and SIDE analysis. Using scientific methodology, in this case the Scoping Review (SR), existing studies were mapped, emphasizing the most relevant aspects of the surgical procedure, taking into account its particularities, systematizing the information in a solid base of knowledge. It was also decided to carry out an analysis of the way nurses in the Operating Room document the needs in nursing care and interventions through immersion in the internship context and analysis of the information and documentation system. After diagnosing the situation, a proposal of data, diagnoses and nursing interventions was elaborated for the client submitted to AO, which, it is hoped, will benefit the professional nursing practice in obtaining a more rigorous and representative description of the autonomous decision, stimulating the production of more and more knowledge associated with the perioperative period, knowledge that can support its space within the profession. This is a document that intends to describe and analyze a training path, analyzing the learning moments, where through the outlined strategies, both theoretical and practical, but also immersive in internship contexts, the proposed results were achieved, competences were developed , namely in the design of care for the person undergoing AO, but also in the areas of instrumentation, circulating, anesthesia support and post-anesthetic care units (PACU), which meet the recommendations for the curricular unit of professional internship with report - Module II.
