O presente relatório pretende plasmar o resultado final de um processo de obtenção de
competências comuns e específicas em enfermagem médico cirúrgica, à pessoa em situação
perioperatória, espelhando a reflexão das experiências e atividades realizadas durante a
unidade curricular Estágio de Natureza Profissional. Assume-se desta forma o Estágio de
Natureza Profissional como crucial, possibilitando a consolidação e aplicação de conhecimentos
teóricos adquiridos, com o objetivo de evidenciar a integração dessas competências na
componente prática.
O aprimoramento dessas competências exige um investimento constante, fundamental para
otimizar a qualidade dos cuidados, sendo crucial, para o desempenho profissional, ter esse foco
sempre presente.
O processo de aquisição de competências envolve ainda a conceção de um projeto individual,
que neste caso em particular se designou por “A Intencionalidade dos Cuidados de Enfermagem
Orientada para a Deteção Precoce: as Complicações no Bloqueio Subaracnóideu”. A tomada de
decisão clínica é aqui entendida como um elemento central na conceção de cuidados, sendo
determinante para a qualidade dos cuidados prestados. A intencionalidade subjacente à tomada
de decisão clínica reflete o compromisso do enfermeiro no sentido da excelência do cuidar à
pessoa em situação perioperatória. A escolha desta temática foi impulsionada pela sua relação
com o trajeto profissional, pelas necessidades observadas ao longo deste percurso e
essencialmente pelo interesse para o desenvolvimento do conhecimento nesta área da
enfermagem.
Este trabalho encontra-se dividido em três principais secções. Na primeira é apresentado a
caracterização do local de estágio, o Bloco Operatório Central e de Especialidades. De seguida é
apresentado um capítulo referente a um estudo de caso, em que se aborda a conceção de
cuidados em todas as fases do perioperatório, de um cliente submetido a redução aberta de
fratura do fémur com fixação interna com cavilha trocantérica, recorrendo a uma plataforma
educacional. A terceira parte descreve e reflete os contributos para o desenvolvimento de
competências especializadas de enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória.
This report aims to shape the final result of a process of obtaining common and specific competencies in medical-surgical nursing, to the person in perioperative situation, reflecting on the experiences and activities carried out during the curricular unit Professional Internship. In this way, the Professional Internship is assumed as crucial, enabling the consolidation and application of acquired theoretical knowledge, with the aim of evidencing the integration of these skills in the practical component. The improvement of these competencies requires constant investment, which is essential to optimize the quality of care, and it is crucial for professional performance to have this focus always present. The process of acquiring competencies also involves the design of an individual project, which in this particular case was called "The Intentionality of Nursing Care Oriented to Early Detection: Complications in Subarachnoid Block". Clinical decision-making is understood here as a central element in the conception of care, being decisive for the quality of care provided. The intentionality underlying clinical decision-making reflects the nurse's commitment to excellence in the care of the person in perioperative situation. The choice of this theme was driven by its relationship with the professional path, by the needs observed along this path and essentially by the interest in the development of nursing knowledge in this area. This work is divided into three main sections. In the first, the characterization of the internship site, the Central and Specialty Operating Room, is presented. Next, a chapter referring to a case study is presented, in which the conception of care in all phases of the perioperative period is addressed, of a client who underwent open femoral fracture reduction with internal fixation with a trochanteric nail, using an educational platform. The third part describes and reflects the contributions to the development of specialized nursing competencies for the person in perioperative situation.
