Abstract(s)
Este estudo investigou a relação entre os prazos de pagamento e a satisfação dos
prestadores de serviços no setor da construção, tendo como objeto de estudo uma empresa de
retalho que vende serviços de instalação e remodelação, designada como Empresa X. A
pesquisa utilizou uma metodologia quantitativa e qualitativa, com recolha de dados por meio
de questionários aplicados aos prestadores de serviços, e entrevistas realizadas com gestores de
rede de parceiros. Os resultados indicaram que os prestadores valorizam significativamente o
cumprimento rigoroso dos prazos de pagamento, destacando que prazos mais curtos ou
flexíveis geram maior satisfação, além de melhorar a estabilidade financeira e o fluxo de caixa
das empresas. No entanto, os dados também mostraram que, além do cumprimento dos prazos
de pagamentos, a criação de uma relação de confiança, transparência e estabilidade entre as
partes é essencial para o sucesso e a continuidade das parcerias comerciais. A pesquisa também
sugeriu que a implementação de soluções como a auto-faturação poderiam otimizar o processo
de pagamento, tornando-o mais ágil e eficiente, sendo vista como uma boa solução pelos
gestores de rede. Para garantir a continuidade e o sucesso das parcerias no setor da construção,
é imprescindível que as empresas alinhem o cumprimento dos prazos de pagamento com a
construção de uma base sólida de confiança e comprometimento mútuo.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between payment deadlines and the satisfaction of service providers in the construction sector, The object of study was a retail company that sells installation and remodeling services, known as Company X. The research used a quantitative and qualitative methodology, collecting data through questionnaires applied to service providers and interviews with partner managers. The results indicated that providers place significant value on strict compliance with payment deadlines, pointing out that shorter or more flexible deadlines generate higher satisfaction, as well as improving companies’ financial stability and cash flow. However, the data also showed that, in addition to meeting payment deadlines, creating a relationship of trust, transparency and stability between the partners is essential for the success and continuity of business partnerships. The research also suggested that implementing solutions such as self-billing could optimize the payment process, making it more agile and efficient, and was seen as a good solution by partner managers. To guarantee the continuity and success of partnerships in the construction sector, it is essential that companies align meeting payment deadlines with building a solid foundation of trust and mutual commitment.
