Abstract(s)
A segurança assume um papel relevante nas organizações, na medida em que
contribui em muito para a produtividade, o bem-estar dos trabalhadores, redução dos
custos e mais importante que tudo a redução do risco em trabalhos profissionais.
Neste sentido, procurou-se através de um estudo de caso, estudar os acidentes de
trabalho na reparação das máquinas de movimentação de cargas, e averiguar o seu
impacto no trabalho de uma empresa, nomeadamente os dias de paragem. O objectivo
foi estudar os acidentes na reparação das máquinas de movimentação de cargas, através
de métodos essencialmente qualitativos: observação directa, análise dos dados dos
acidentes na empresa desde 2009, seguido de uma entrevista para validar o programa de
melhoria.
Para isso, foi feito inicialmente um enquadramento teórico, em que procurou-se
abordar temas pertinentes relacionados com a temática em questão, a segurança no seu
sentido geral, a segurança nas máquinas de movimentação de carga analisando a física
relativa às máquinas, formação, inspecções, equipamentos de protecção individual
(EPI), entre outros, associando os riscos aos trabalhos de manutenção.
Seguidamente, e com o fornecimento dos dados relativos aos acidentes desde
2009 até ao presente ano, foi feito uma análise estatística e proposto um programa de
melhoria.
Depois, e de modo a validar o programa proposto, foi feita uma entrevista ao
Director Geral da Empigest, onde se retiraram algumas conclusões.
No final, foi feita uma reflexão e proposta de trabalhos futuros, tendo por
objectivo ajudar a empresa no futuro a reduzir o número de acidentes na reparação das
máquinas.
The safety assumes a relevant role in organizations, because it contributes a lot for the productivity, welfare of workers, reduction of costs and more important than everything, the reduction of risk in professional works. So, we sought through a case study, to study the accidents in work of repair lift load machines, and see the impact in the work of a company, namely stop days. The goal will be to study the accidents in the maintenance of fork lift trucks, using essentially qualitative methods: direct observation, analyze of data due to the accidents in the company since 2009, and after that an interview to validate the improvement program. For that, we made a theoretical framework, where we tried to approach pertinent topics related with the thematic in question, the safety in general sense, the safety in lift load trucks, analyzing the machines physics, training, inspections, individual protection equipments, among others, associating the risk to the maintenance works. After that, and with the supply of data about the accidents since 2009 until now, we made a statistical analysis and propose an improvement program. After, and to validate the improvement program, we made an interview to General Manager of Empigest, and we took some conclusions. Lastly, we made some reflections and future work proposals. We hope to achieve some pertinent results in order to help the company in the future to reduce the number of accidents in maintenance of machines.
