Abstract(s)
Na esfera de intervenção do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e
Psiquiátrica, os pilares da sua intervenção integram a promoção da saúde mental, a prevenção da
doença e a reabilitação e inserção psicossocial. Ancorado na relação terapêutica, promove a sua prática
com o desígnio de potenciar a satisfação das necessidades da pessoa, diminuindo os processos
incapacitantes de maior morbilidade.
Recorremos à metodologia de projeto, planeámos e executámos um programa terapêutico com
vista a entender o fenómeno “Porta Giratória”, cuja principal intencionalidade seria compreender quais
os fatores que estão subjacentes a este problema e, consequentemente, diminuir os reinternamentos. A
construção do jogo Mind Game, incide na promoção da qualidade dos cuidados, aumentar os
conhecimentos sobre os sinais e sintomas e capacitar a pessoa para a gestão adequada do regime
terapêutico.
A atitude reflexiva, esteve subjacente à tomada de decisão, promotora do desenvolvimento e da
aquisição de competências comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista, específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista
em Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica, e de Mestre.
In the scope of intervention of the Nurse Specialists in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, the pillars of their intervention integrate the promotion of mental health disease, prevention and psychoso- cial rehabilitation. Anchored in the therapeutic relationship, they promote in practice with the purpose of empowering the satisfaction of the person’s needs, reducing the incapacitating processes of greater moorbidity. Using the project methodology, we planned and executed a therapeutic program that aimed un- derstanding the "revolving door" phenomenon, which the main purpose was to understand the factors underlying this problem and consequently reduce readmissions. The construction of the "Mind Game" focuses on promothing the quality of care, increasing the knowledge regarding signs and symptoms and empowering the person to properly manage the therapeutic regime. The reflective attitude underlies the decision-making process, which promotes the developmnet and acquisition of common competencies of the Specialist Nurse, specific competencies of Specialist Nurse in Mental and Psychiartric, and of the Master
