Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho tem como principal objetivo avaliar a reestruturação da herdade Pomar das
Estrelas, Lda, situada em Reguengos de Monsaraz. A reestruturação surge com a necessidade de
rentabilizar a exploração, uma vez que a cultura presente (vinha) não está a ter os resultados
esperados. O projeto retrata a possibilidade de arrancar parte da vinha existente criar uma
horta, um agroturismo, uma loja gourmet e instalar 1 hectare de plantas aromáticas e medicinais.
Com os dados fornecidos pela empresa pode observar-se que a vinha não está a dar o
rendimento devido, e numa vertente de inovar e explorar outras culturas, uma das opções
consideradas foi as plantas aromáticas e medicinais. Através da realização deste relatório foi
possível executar uma análise S.W.O.T e elaborar uma análise financeira do projeto. A escolha
pela erva-cidreira, hortelã-pimenta e perpétua-roxa assentou numa pesquisa de mercado, e nos
contactos realizados a produtores deste tipo de cultura. Do ponto de vista económico pode
concluir-se que o projeto é viável. Através da análise de viabilidade percebeu-se que o Valor
Atual Liquido (VAL) é de 1 305 697€ e a Taxa Interna de Rentabilidade (TIR) apresenta um valor
de 197,38%. Reguengos de Monsaraz reúne condições para o cultivo das espécies selecionadas,
o que é um bom indicador, embora possam surgir alguns desafios, como é o caso da
disponibilidade de mão-de-obra.
The main goal of this work is to evaluate the restructuring of the Pomar das Estrelas, Lda, located in Reguengos de Monsaraz. The reorganization comes with the need to make the exploitation profitable, since the present culture (vineyard) is not having the expected results. The project portrays the possibility of uprooting part of the existing vineyard, creating a vegetable garden, an agrotourism, a gourmet store and installing 1 hectare of aromatic and medicinal plants. With the data provided by the company, it is concluded that the vineyard is not giving the due income, and in an aspect of innovating and exploring other cultures, one of the options considered was aromatic and medicinal plants production. Through the realization of this report it was possible to carry out a S.W.O.T analysis and prepare a financial analysis of the project. The choice for lemon balm, peppermint and purple perennial was based on market research, and on contacts made with producers of this type of crops. From an economic point of view, it can be concluded that the project is viable. Through the feasibility analysis, it was noticed that the NPV is €1,305,697 and the IRR has a value of 197.38%. Reguengos de Monsaraz meets the conditions for the cultivation of the selected species, which is a good indicator, although some setbacks may arise, such as the availability of labor.
