Este trabalho correlaciona o Turismo cultural em Cascais com a sua experiência turística através
das free walking tours realizada pela a Associação do SeeTheSea que seguem o itinerário da
rota de veraneio.
O SeeTheSea é uma associação formada há dois anos e há dois anos realiza walking tours em
Cascais. A sua forma de operar enquadra-se muito nos novos modelos de negócios do Sharing
Economy (Economia Colaborativa). Existindo uma relação directa entre o negociador o
consumidor, relação, que se baseia muito nas redes sociais (instagram) e Trip Advisor, com
reviews de turista, a, recomendar as free walking tours.
Só que neste trabalho o foque está mais concentrado na questão da experiência turística assim
foi possível através de reviews e entrevistas com os guias entender a sua opinião em relação às
free walking tours e se por norma superam as expectativas.
Assim para a realização deste trabalho foi realizado um inventário da oferta turística cultural em
Cascais isso porque Cascais é uma vila cheio de história desde os seus primórdios o que resulta
num vasto património histórico-cultural que levou principalmente à criação de várias rotas e
itinerários turísticos para serem utilizados e o itinerário, então, utilizado pelo SeeTheSea é a rota
de “veraneio”.
A rota de veraneio trata-se de uma rota da qual se visitam diversas casas das quais viviam vários
reis que no final do século XIX elegeram Cascais como uma estância balnear principalmente da
Família Real, da Nobreza como também da alta burguesia (Carita & Cardoso s/d).
Por isso neste trabalho, ao ter em conta, o conceito “free walking tour” é utilizado o como caso
de Estudo as “Walking Tours” do SeeTheSea para tentar não só entender de forma um pouco
mais aprofundada o conceito “free walking tour” senão a experiência turística no momento que
os turista visitam Cascais e que lhe é dado a conhecer o património histôrico da vila em si.
This work correlates the Cultural Tourism in Cascais with its tourist experience through the Free Walking Tours carried out by the Association of the SeeTheSea that follow the itinerary of “veraneio”. SeeTheSea is an association formed two years ago and two years ago performs Walking Tours in Cascais. Its way of operating fits very muchin the new business model of Sharing Economy (Collaborative Economy). Existing a direct relationship between the consumer negotiator, relationship, which is based much on social networks (instagram) and Trip Advisor, with tourist views, a, recommend the Free Walking Tours. But in this work the focus is on the issue of the tourist experience so it was possible through reviews ans interviews with guides understand their oponion regarding the Free Walking Tour and if they usually exceed their expectations So for the realization of this work was carried out an inventory of the cultural tourist offer in Cascais because Cascais is a village full of history since its beginnings which results in a vas historical heritage cultural tha led mainly to the creation os several tourist routes and itineraries to be used and the itinerary then used by the SeetheSea is the route of “veraneio” The route of “veraneio” is a route from which you can visit several houses of several kings who lived at the end of the nineteenth century when Cascais was chosed as a seaside resort of the Royal Family, the Nobiliy and as well as the upper bourgeosie (Carita & Cardoso s/d) So in this work, when taking into account, the concept “Free Walking Tour” is used as a case study the “Walking Tours” os SeeTheSea to try not only to understand a little more in depth the concept “Free Walking Tour” otherwise the tourist experience at the time that touriss visit Cascais and that is given to know the historical heritage of village itself.
