Abstract(s)
O objetivo do presente trabalho prende-se com a problemática da falta de harmonização
das regras relativas às armas antigas nos Estados-Membros da União Europeia.
A contínua desvalorização da perigosidade, por parte da Organização das Nações Unidas
e da União Europeia, face às armas de fogo antigas bem como às que utilizam munições de
calibre obsoleto, associado ainda ao facto destes conceitos, não serem similares nos diversos
Estados, leva que, face à sua disponibilidade e falta de controlo, estejam facilmente acessíveis
a qualquer cidadão ou a grupos criminosos organizados.
Abordamos igualmente a problemática de atuação e procedimentos dos elementos
policiais perante as armas excluídas do Regime Jurídico das Armas e Munições.
The purpose of this work is related to the lack of harmonization of the rules related to antique firearms in the Member States of the European Union. The continuous despise of danger by the United Nations and the European Union related to old firearms as well as those that use obsolete caliber ammunition, also associated with the fact that these concepts are not similar in different States, leads to an easily access to any citizen or criminal groups, given the availability and lack of control of this weapons. I have also address the issue of action and procedures of police elements towards weapons excluded from the Legal Regime of Weapons and Ammunition.
