dc.description.abstractThis study analyses the application of Behavioral Data Science to the field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), based on a survey conducted by the Cloo Behavioral Insights Unit. The questionnaire, administered in 2022 to 1,500 participants from all regions of Brazil, gathered perceptions on inclusion, organizational support, and microaggressions in the workplace context. Using a post-hoc quantitative approach, the latent structure of responses was explored through Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and segmentation via k-means clustering, enabling the identification of groups with distinct patterns of perception. The information sources included the survey data and scientific literature in the fields of DEI and data analysis. The results reveal relevant differences in reported experiences across the identified groups, suggesting that variables such as gender and race may be associated with perceptions of inclusion and exclusion. The study resulted in the development of the CLOO-DEI Index, which enables organizations to assess their relative positioning in relation to perceptions of inclusion within the DEI domain. The project also contributes to the creation of strategic recommendations and the redesign of a training offer grounded in empirical evidence.eng
