Resumo
O presente relatório diz respeito ao estágio final curricular do curso de Mestrado em Agro-Pecuária realizado pela aluna Diana Cláudia Couceiro Arromba na empresa Valmarques- Sociedade Agrícola e Pecuária, Lda que decorreu de Setembro de 2012 a Agosto de 2013. Teve como objectivo acompanhar três variedades de morangos no período pós- colheita: Sabrina, Coral e San Andreas. O trabalho é constituído por 3 partes: 1) breve revisão bibliográfica de algumas características do morangueiro e fisiologia pós-colheita do morango, 2) material e métodos 3) apresentação dos resultados obtidos e discussão. A colheita dos morangos decorreu entre o período de Maio a Julho tendo sido feitas avaliações físicas (peso, forma, cor e firmeza) e químicos (teor de sólidos solúveis, acidez titulável, análises de solo, análises foliares e analises de pectinas). San Andreas foi a variedade que apresentou um período de vida útil maior e Sabrina a que apresentou um período menor. Na variedade San Andreas registou-se frutos de maior calibre e mais vermelhos à colheita e perdas de peso menores durante o período de conservação. Verificou-se também frutos mais ácidos, maiores percentagens de pectinas e de matéria seca, frutos moderadamente doces à colheita. A variedade Coral exibiu frutos mais pequenos, maiores perdas de peso ao longo do tempo de conservação, frutos mais doces, acidez média, uma menor percentagem de pectinas e uma maior relação de açúcar/ácido. A variedade Sabrina apresentou frutos grandes, no entanto menores que San Andreas, maior luminosidade à colheita, menor tom vermelho e menores percentagens de matéria seca.

Abstract
This report covers the final stage curriculum of the Master course in Agro-Livestock performed by student Diana Cláudia Couceiro Arromba in company-Valmarques Agricultural and Livestock Company Ltd which ran from September 2012 to August 2013. Aimed to monitor three varieties of strawberries in the post-harvest period: Sabrina, Coral and San Andreas. The work consists of 3 parts: 1) brief review of some characteristics of strawberry and postharvest physiology of strawberry, 2) materials and methods 3) presentation of results and discussion. The harvest of strawberries elapsed between the period of May to July physical measurements (weight , shape, color and texture) and chemical (total soluble solids , titratable acidity, soil analysis , leaf analysis and analysis of pectins ) have been made . San Andreas was the variety that had a longer shelf life and that Sabrina had a shorter period. Variety in San Andreas there was fruit of larger size and more red , and the harvest of smaller weight losses during the storage period . There was also more acidic fruits , higher percentages of pectins and dry , moderately sweet fruit harvest. The Coral variety exhibited smaller fruits , greater weight losses over time conservation , sweetest fruits , acidity average, a lower percentage of pectins and a higher ratio of sugar / acid. Sabrina variety showed great fruit , however smaller than San Andreas , to harvest more light , less red tone and smaller percentages of dry matter .
