Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio, inserido na área de especialização do curso de Mestrado em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica
(MEMCPSCT), visa corporizar um conjunto de objetivos traçados e planeados ao longo de dois
semestres, tendo por base as competências do Enfermeiro Especialista (EE), através da imersão
em três contextos de ensino clínico distintos, nomeadamente no Serviço de Cuidados Intensivos
de Cirurgia Cardiotorácica (UCICT) (optativo), Serviço de Urgência (SU) e Serviço de Medicina
Intensiva (SMI) Polivalente.
Uma vez que, os ambientes de cuidado à pessoa em situação crítica são, por norma, muito
movimentados e com uma panóplia de tecnologia de ponta, podem condicionar a atuação da
equipa de enfermagem, direcionando o foco de atenção em intervenções consideradas major e
de preservação das condições vitais, tornando a adesão a práticas relacionadas com o
fundamental care como, por exemplo, os cuidados à cavidade oral um desafio.
Com vista à aquisição e desenvolvimento das competências específicas de um EE, a temática
selecionada que serviu de “fio condutor” ao longo dos locais de estágio, alicerçou-se na procura
pela forma como o enfermeiro pode primar pela diferença na promoção da integridade da
mucosa oral da pessoa em situação crítica e, desta forma, ser um agente impulsionador de
saúde e preventivo no desenvolvimento/agravamento de doenças.
Desta forma, neste documento escrito será explanado um caso clínico por cada momento de
estágio, onde serão analisados e fundamentados os planos de conceção de cuidados de forma
crítica e reflexiva com o planeamento necessário à concretização dos objetivos previamente
estabelecidos, destacando o tema de projeto alvo de estudo.
Em suma, perante o anteriormente referido, pretende-se que no decorrer deste processo de
aprendizagem, sejam, acima de tudo, extraídos e alvo de reflexão os contributos para o
desenvolvimento de competências de um enfermeiro que pretende futuramente ser para além
de especialista, um enfermeiro mais significativo.
This internship report, inserted in the specialization area of the Master's Degree in Medical- Surgical Nursing, in the area of Nursing for the Person in Critical Situation (MDMSNPCS), aims to embody a set of objectives outlined and planned over two semesters, based on the skills of the specialist nurse (SN), through immersion in three different clinical teaching contexts, namely in the Intensive Care Service of Cardiothoracic Surgery (ICUCS) (optional), Emergency Service (ES) and Medicine Service Intensive (ICU) Multipurpose. Since care environments for people in critical situations are, as a rule, very busy and with advanced technology, they can condition the performance of the nursing team, directing the focus of attention to interventions considered major and preservation of vital conditions, making adherence to practices related to fundamental care such as, for example, care for the oral cavity a challenge. With a view to the acquisition and development of the specific skills of an SN, the selected theme that served as a guideline throughout the internship locations, was based on the search for how the nurse can strive for the difference in promoting the integrity of the oral mucosa of the person in critical situation and, in this way, be a health booster and preventive agent in the development/worsening of diseases. In this way, in this written document, a clinical case will be explained for each moment of the internship, where the care conception plans will be analyzed and substantiated in a critical and reflective way with the necessary planning to achieve the previously established objectives, highlighting the subject of the project being studied. Briefly, in view of the above, it is intended that, in the course of this learning process, the contributions to the development of skills of a nurse who intends to be, in addition to being a specialist, a nurse are, above all, extracted and reflected upon most significant.
