Abstract(s)
do Enfermeiro especialista.
articular e promoção do equilíbrio postural.
articular.
The preparation of this report is presented as the culmination of three clinical teaching contexts. Prior to clinical teaching, a project was designed with the aim of addressing the intervention of the Nurse Specialist in Rehabilitation Nursing (EEER) in proprioceptive rehabilitation for people with joint instability, understanding and identifying the process of proprioceptive rehabilitation for people with joint instability, elaborating, implementing and evaluating proprioceptive rehabilitation programs. The same report discriminates the development of competences and the provision of specialized nursing care in rehabilitation nursing, as well as specific competences of the Specialist Nurse. Proprioceptive rehabilitation presents itself as an aspect of rehabilitation with the goal of increasing stability after loss of function, in people with joint instability. Throughout the analysed studies, it was possible to verify that through proprioceptive rehabilitation we can observe results that point to a significant improvement in the sense of joint position and postural balance. It is also recognized in the literature that properly designed proprioceptive rehabilitation programs lead to an improvement in proprioceptive acuity and motor control after joint injuries. In summary, proprioceptive rehabilitation plays an important and effective role in promoting joint stability and promoting postural balance. In this report, the main part presents a critical description of the activities carried out in clinical teaching contexts over the past few months, with the aim of developing common Specialist Nurse competences, as well as EEER competences. Based on the above, the intervention of the EEER assumes an important role in the development of a proprioceptive rehabilitation program with the goal of restitution of function, rehabilitation of the person, with increased independence and autonomy in the performance of day-to-day activities, as well as in reinsertion of the exercise of their citizenship and maximization of their capacities, facing joint instability.
