O presente relatรณrio apresenta um trabalho de investigaรงรฃo enquadrado na unidade curricular IV e implementado numa turma do 6.ยบ ano de escolaridade, na disciplina de Portuguรชs. O estudo procurou compreender as potencialidades de um telejornal de turma para o desenvolvimento de competรชncias de oralidade, leitura e escrita, com foco no gรฉnero textual notรญcia. A investigaรงรฃo รฉ de natureza qualitativa, enquadrada na metodologia de investigaรงรฃo sobre a prรกtica. As tรฉcnicas de recolha de dados incluรญram observaรงรฃo participante, inquรฉrito por entrevista e recolha documental, nomeadamente atravรฉs de uma Sequรชncia Didรกtica. A anรกlise considerou os aspetos referidos na literatura de referรชncia. Os resultados evidenciaram uma melhoria nas produรงรตes dos alunos, na comparaรงรฃo entre a Produรงรฃo Inicial e a Produรงรฃo Final. Embora ainda se tenham verificado algumas dificuldades na escrita, foi possรญvel observar uma evoluรงรฃo global nas competรชncias de expressรฃo. Os alunos reconheceram a sua progressรฃo, demonstrando consciรชncia das aprendizagens realizadas e dos aspetos que ainda necessitavam de melhorar. O telejornal de turma revelou-se uma atividade relevante para a motivaรงรฃo dos alunos e para o desenvolvimento das suas competรชncias. Alรฉm disso, a operacionalizaรงรฃo atravรฉs de uma Sequรชncia Didรกtica possibilitou um trabalho organizado e estruturado, partindo das dificuldades dos alunos e permitindo a observaรงรฃo dos percursos de aprendizagem.
This report presents a research project developed within the scope of Curricular Unit IV and implemented in a 6th-grade class, in the subject of Portuguese. The study aimed to understand the potential of a class news broadcast for the development of studentsโ oral, reading, and writing skills, with a focus on the news text genre. This was a qualitative study, framed within the action-research methodology. Data collection techniques included participant observation, interview surveys, and document collection, particularly through a Didactic Sequence. The analysis considered the aspects discussed in the relevant literature. The results showed an improvement in studentsโ abilities when comparing the Initial Production and the Final Production. Although some writing difficulties persisted, an overall evolution in expressive skills was observed. Students recognized their progress, demonstrating awareness of their learning achievements and of the aspects that still required improvement. The class news broadcast proved to be a relevant activity for motivating students and developing their skills. Furthermore, its implementation through a Didactic Sequence enabled an organized and structured approach, starting from the studentsโ difficulties and allowing the observation of their learning paths.
