Abstract(s)
O tráfico de drogas é um problema significativo no Algarve, região que, devido
à sua localização estratégica, se tornou um ponto crucial para a entrada de
distribuição de substâncias ilícitas. Este estudo analisa o cenário atual do tráfico
de drogas na região, destacando as principais substâncias traficadas, como
cocaína, canábis e heroína, e as rotas utilizadas. Baseado em relatórios como o
da Unidade de Combate ao Tráfico de Estupefaciente (UNCTE), o estudo
identifica as dinâmicas do tráfico e os desafios enfrentados pelas autoridades.
Avalia-se a eficácia das práticas de prevenção existentes e propõem-se novas
estratégias baseadas em evidências, incluindo cooperação internacional,
políticas rigorosas de segurança, educação comunitária e reinserção social. O
objetivo é contribuir para a erradicação do tráfico de drogas no Algarve,
promovendo a segurança e o bem-estar comunitário, e oferecendo em recurso
valioso para o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas mais eficazes.

It assesses the effectiveness of existing prevention practices and proposes new evidence-based strategies, including international co-operation, strict security policies, community education and social reintegration.
