Abstract(s)
Introdução: O compromisso da deglutição na pessoa em situação critica apresenta, não só, uma
elevada prevalência a nível mundial como também está associado a elevadas taxas
de morbilidade e mortalidade. Os fatores apontados, na literatura para este compromisso, são a
presença de tubos traqueais, a ventilação mecânica invasiva e o compromisso do estado clínico
d o i n d i v i d u o , n o m e a d a m e n t e a n í v e l n e u r o l ó g i c o , r e s p i r a t ó r i o e
cognitivo. Objetivos: Desenvolver competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro
especialista em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na área da enfermagem à pessoa em situação
crítica, com particular enfoque na pessoa em situação critica com compromisso da deglutição.
Refletir sobre o percurso realizado nos contextos do estágio de natureza profissional. Síntese: A
realização do estágio de natureza profissional permitiu desenvolver o projeto delineado e
concretizar competências no domínio da prática profissional, da prestação de cuidados, da
gestão dos cuidados e da ética legal, no âmbito do mestrado em enfermagem médico-cirúrgica,
na área de enfermagem à pessoa em situação critica. Possibilitou de igual forma, o crescimento
pessoal e profissional.
Introduction: Compromised swallowing in people in critical situations not only has a high prevalence worldwide but is also associated with high rates of morbidity and mortality. The factors cited in the literature for this compromise are the presence of tracheal tubes, invasive mechanical ventilation and the impairment of the individual's clinical status, particularly at neurological, respiratory and cognitive levels. Objectives: Develop common and specific skills for nurses specializing in medical-surgical nursing, in the area of nursing for people in critical situations, with particular focus on people in critical situations with impaired swallowing. Reflect on the journey taken in the context of the professional internship. Syntheis: Carrying out the professional internship allowed the development of the outlined project and the implementation of skills in the field of professional practice, care provision, care management and ethics and legal, within the scope of the master's degree in medical-surgical nursing, in the area of nursing to a person in critical situation. It also enabled personal and professional growth.
