Abstract(s)
O desenvolvimento sustentável é essencial no avanço da ação climática, no crescimento económico e na igualdade social. Desde a criação dos 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da ONU em 2015, que o progresso tem sido desequilibrado, com muitas das metas a estagnar ou a regredir. Existe uma necessidade de ação colaborativa e eficaz em todos os setores: governos, empresas, instituições públicas e indivíduos. As soluções tecnológicas existentes abordam apenas aspetos isolados da sustentabilidade, faltando a colaboração e comunicação.
Através de uma plataforma digital, este projeto visa acelerar o progresso na obtenção das metas dos ODS, através da centralização das interações entre todos os intervenientes. Utilizando tecnologias digitais modernas, design centrado no utilizador e um ambiente colaborativo, a plataforma procura melhorar o crescimento e a eficiência de projetos, produtos e serviços sustentáveis. Foca-se em questões críticas como limites regulatórios, financeiros e lacunas de informação que dificultam os esforços de desenvolvimento sustentável.
Através da elaboração de inquérito e entrevistas aprofundadas, a investigação explora a necessidade de um produto digital como estratégia para acelerar a obtenção das metas. Explora a perceção dos utilizadores em relação à sustentabilidade, práticas sustentáveis e as barreiras enfrentadas pelo público e entidades.
Desta investigação surgiram três grupos de utilizadores principais: consumidores que procuram soluções sustentáveis, fornecedores, incluindo empresas e investigadores, e investidores.
Conjugando a informação adquirida no processo de investigação, a leitura realizada e o conhecimento e experiência anteriores, foi possível desenvolver um protótipo da plataforma que permitiu dar respostas às questões iniciais. Através da aplicação de um robusto sistema de design, arquitetura de informação e design de experiência do utilizador, foi possível concluir que a plataforma e as suas capacidades técnicas conseguem dar resposta ao inicialmente proposto, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento sustentável global e obtenção das metas do ODS.
Sustainable development is essential for advancing climate action, economic growth and social equity. Since the establishment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nation in 2015, progress has been uneven, with many targets either stagnating or regressing. This highlights the need for effective, collaborative action from all sectors – governments, businesses, public institutions and individuals. Current technological solutions often address only isolated aspects of sustainability, lacking integrated functionalities for collaboration and communication. Through the development of a digital platform, this project aims to accelerate progress towards the SDGs by providing a centralized hub for interaction among all stakeholders. By leveraging modern digital technologies, user-centered design and collaborative environment, the platform seeks to enhance the growth and efficiency of sustainable projects, products and services. It targets critical issues such as regulatory constraints, financial barriers and information gaps that hinder sustainable development efforts. Through the implementation of a survey and in-depth interviews, the research explores the need for a digital product as a strategy to accelerate the achievement of SDGs. The research explores user perceptions related to sustainability, sustainable practices and the barriers faced by the public and institutions. From this research, three main user groups were formulated: customers seeking sustainable solutions, suppliers, including companies and researchers, and facilitators like investors. Combining the gathered information in the research process, reviewed literature and previous knowledge and experience, it was possible to develop a platform prototype, answering the initial questions. Through the application of a robust design system, information architecture and user experience design, it was possible to conclude that the platform and its technical capabilities can answer the initially defined proposal, contributing to a global sustainable development and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
