Abstract(s)
Sustainable Human Resource Management is a key strategy for organizations to act efficiently and sustainably in the long term. By following this approach, organizations achieve high performance through practices that promote Work Engagement. These outcomes will be influenced by the Perception of Organizational Support. Thus, the aim of this study is to verify a double moderation: Generation as a moderator of the moderation of Perceived Organizational Support in Sustainable Human Resource Management and Work Engagement. The study was carried out by applying a questionnaire to 306 participants. We aim to add value to the literature and to practice by analysing a relationship that has not yet been consolidated in the literature: the impact that Sustainable Human Resource Management has on Work Engagement, when moderated by Perceived Organizational Support, in the different Generations. The results indicate that there is double moderation, as well as the moderation of Perceived Organizational Support in Sustainable Human Resource Management and Work Engagement. The data reveals different results for each Generation, as expected. This study adds to the little existing literature on these relationships, especially on the Sustainable Human Resource Management variable and analysis of Generation Z, which will benefit organizations, leaders and employees.
