Abstract(s)
O presente estudo teve como propósito a análise e reflexão sobre a estratégia da
Polícia de Segurança Pública quanto à importância da segurança e saúde no trabalho, uma
necessidade que se pretende que seja encarada como fator estratégico para o bem-estar
laboral. A segurança e saúde no trabalho consubstancia-se na promoção e manutenção de
elevados níveis de bem-estar físico, mental e social de todos os que compõem a atividade
laboral. A sociedade atual está cada vez mais desperta e consciente e exigente com os
fatores que impulsionam a qualidade de vida no trabalho, valorizando cada vez mais as
condições de segurança e saúde verificadas em ambientes laborais. Conclui-se a
importância da temática, verificando-se a necessidade de implementação de um programa
de segurança e saúde no trabalho na Polícia de Segurança Pública, que permita elevar os
índices de prevenção, a diminuição do risco, os acidentes de trabalho e as taxas de
absentismo, tendo por base a procura do bem-estar laboral, a qualidade de vida pessoal e
profissional dos polícias
The purpose of this study was to analyze and reflect on the strategy of the Public Security Police regarding the need for the importance of occupational safety and health, a need that is intended to be seen as a strategic factor for well-being at work. The importance of safety and health at work is seen as the promotion and maintenance of high levels of physical, mental and social well-being of all those who are part of the work activity. Today's society is increasingly aware and demanding of the factors that drive quality of life at work, increasingly valuing safety and health conditions in healthy environments. We conclude the importance of the theme, verifying the need for the implementation of a safety and health at work program in the Public Security Police Force, which allows for an increase in prevention rates, risk reduction, work accidents and absenteeism rates, based on the search for well-being at work, and personal and professional quality of life for police officers
