| dc.description.abstract | Apesar de o associativismo ser um fenómeno já estabelecido há algum tempo nas sociedades, o associativismo na Guarda Nacional Republicana, adiante designada por Guarda, é relativamente recente, mas tem sido vincado como um movimento social interno da Instituição através da sua evolução nas suas vertentes social, organizacional e legislativo. Assim, tal fenómeno sociológico merece a atenção deste Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada, pretendendo determinar o impacto do mesmo para a Instituição e para os seus militares. Este objetivo é atingido através de um método hipotético-dedutivo seguindo uma linha orientadora da investigação que consiste em explorar de que forma pode a atividade das associações socioprofissionais da Guarda influir no desenvolvimento dessa mesma Instituição. À luz disto, e para responder ao problema da investigação, surgem hipóteses para essas respostas, sustentadas no quadro teórico já existente acerca da profissão de militar da Guarda e do associativismo enquanto fenómeno social da Instituição Militar e, mais especificamente, da Guarda. Para verificação destas hipóteses e consequente resposta ao problema, foram realizadas entrevistas, as quais, após analisadas e discutidas demonstram uma íntima correlação entre os seus resultados empíricos e as observações desenvolvidas no enquadramento teórico. Conclui-se com esta investigação que o associativismo, devido às transformações sociais e internas que provoca na Instituição através da sua atividade, tem influência no desenvolvimento da Guarda. Este efeito é exponenciado pela confluência entre as várias associações e entre estas e o Comando da Guarda resultando positivamente na aproximação do profissional da Guarda à sociedade assim como na melhoria das condições e reconhecimento profissionais que lhe são prestados. No entanto, também se conclui uma influência negativa relativamente à imagem pública da Instituição, que pode gerar a descredibilização da mesma, perante quem toma as decisões segundo as quais a Instituição se desenvolve e perante a restante sociedade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Although associativism is a phenomenon that has been established in societies for some time now, the associativism in the Guarda Nacional Republicana, hereinafter referred to as Guarda, is relatively recent, but this has been credited as an internal and social movement of the Institution through its evolution in its social, organizational and legislative aspects. Thus, this sociological phenomenon deserves the attention of this Applied Research Project, intending to determine the impact of the associativism to the Institution and its military. This objective is reached through a hypothetical-deductive method following a guideline of the investigation that consists in exploring in what form the activity of the socio-professional associations of the Guarda can influence the development of this same Institution. Therefore, and in order to answer to the problem of investigation, is formulated a hypothesis for these answers, based on the existing theoretical framework about the profession of military of Guarda and associativism as a social phenomenon of the Military Institution and, more specifically, the Guarda. To verify these hypotheses and consequently resolve the problem, interviews were conducted, which, after analyzed and discussed, show an intimate correlation between the empirical results produced and the observations developed in the theoretical framework. It is concluded with this investigation that the associativism, due to the social and internal transformations that it induces in the Institution through its activity, has influence in the development of the Guarda. This efect is heightened by the confluence between the various associations and between them and the Guarda Command and has a positive result in the approach of the professional of Guarda to the remaining society and in the improvement of the conditions and professional recognition that are provided to the professionals. However, it also concludes a negative influence on the public image of the Institution, which may lead to its disbelief by those who take the decisions according to which the Institution is developing and by the rest of society. | pt_PT |
