Abstract(s)
Programa Escola Segura (PES).
Every organization seek to achieve maximum efficiency every day, according to their customer needs through its resources. Apart from globalization and the constant technology innovation, environmental themes are more and more a challenge for managers who want to achieve goals and enhance the creation of value in an organization. The Public Security Police (PSP), has a panoply of means to guarantee the fulfillment of its purposes, among which we highlight the vehicles. This material resource is constantly used in several valences of the PSP, as is the case of Safe School Program (PES). However, following an analysis of the PSP vehicle fleet inherent to the programme, we verify that the vehicles are damaged and old. Therefore there is an urgent need to replace the current PES vehicles, arising the option of acquiring electrical cars (VE), the reason why has been made a study of exploratory descriptive character with applied purpose, with the use of surveys by questionnaires. The central purpose of this is to inquire about the impacts that the adoption of this new type of vehicles in PES may have for the organization. Through an economic and financial feasibility analysis, it was concluded that economically the VE become more expensive for the PSP. Nevertheless, given that the cost difference evidenced is residual, and because the results obtained through questionnaire surveys demonstrate that VE proves to be an excellent value creation strategy, this option becomes quite appealing for the future of the organization, contributing to an innovative and environmental image.
