O presente relatório descreve todo o percurso educativo e todas as experiências vivenciadas durante a Prática e Intervenção Supervisionada em Creche e em Jardim de Infância, do Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar da Escola Superior de Educação e Ciências Sociais do Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre.
O objetivo deste estudo foi perceber como é que a Literatura Infantil e os livros-brinquedo permitem fomentar o gosto pela leitura e pelo livro, e perceber ainda a importância de contactar com este tipo de livros, em idades precoces.
O estudo principal foi realizado com um grupo de 16 crianças de Jardim de infância com idades compreendidas entre os 3 e os 4 anos.
Este estudo foi implementado através da metodologia de investigação-ação como uma estratégia de formação reflexiva e análise dos dados emergentes e, que ainda, contribuiu para uma melhoria da prática educativa e para a minha formação. Cada etapa deste estudo permitiu para a construção de saberes, favorecendo o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional enquanto futura educadora de infância.
This report describes the educational journey and experiences acquired during the internship in a nursery and kindergarten, related to the Master of Preschool Education of the Higher School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre. The main objective of this study was to understand how children’s literature and toy books increases children’s interest in reading and books as well as the importance of being familiar with these books from early ages. The main study was performed in the kindergarten with a group of 16 children aged 3 to 4 through the methodology of investigation-action as a strategy of reflexive learning and analysis of emerging data, which contributed to the improvement of the educational practice and my training. Each step of this study contributed to the knowledge acquisition and fostered my personal and professional development as a future kindergarten teacher.
