As Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social são organizações que possuem um papel social bastante importante na sociedade portuguesa, através do seu trabalho na ação social.
Para que o seu trabalho seja efetuado com qualidade é imprescindível a formação dos seus colaboradores.
É neste contexto que se realizou esta investigação, com o objetivo principal de perceber qual o impacto da formação profissional na qualidade dos serviços prestados nas IPSS. Ou seja, se a formação tem um impacto positivo, ou não, nos serviços prestados à população idosa através destas entidades.
Para alcançar este objetivo iniciou-se este trabalho com a definição dos diversos conceitos inerentes a estas organizações.
Para perceber o real impacto da qualidade nas IPSS, aplicou-se um questionário aos colaboradores de três instituições e uma entrevistas às diretoras técnicas e aos representantes dos órgãos gestores destas.
No final deste trabalho, conclui-se que a formação profissional tem um impacto na qualidade dos serviços prestados nestas entidades de forma positiva. Ao apostar no aumento das competências dos colaboradores, os serviços são administrados adequadamente, tornando estas instituições mais sustentáveis.
The Private Social Solidarity Institutions are organizations that have a very important social role in Portuguese society, through its work in social action. For his work to be done, with quality, is essential the training of their employees. It is in this context that this research was conducted with the main objective to realize the impact of vocational training on the quality of services provided in the IPSS. That is, if training has a positive impact or not in the services provided to the elderly through these entities.
