A sociedade encontra-se a atravessar a chamada era digital, estando esta bastante dependente da utilizaĆ§Ć£o da Internet. A Internet tornou-se vital em diversas Ć”reas essenciais como a saĆŗde, a educaĆ§Ć£o o e o setor financeiro. A enorme adesĆ£o Ć utilizaĆ§Ć£o o da Internet, quase total nas sociedades mais evoluĆdas, leva tambĆ©m a que esta sirva de meio para a execuĆ§Ć£o de atividades criminosas. Como tal, Ć© necessĆ”rio formar especialistas em ciberseguranƧa e ciberdefesa, fornecendo-lhes os recursos necessĆ”rios Ć sua formaĆ§Ć£o.
Nesta dissertaĆ§Ć£o irĆ” ser desenvolvida uma soluĆ§Ć£o open source que servirĆ” o propĆ³sito de um cyber range, utilizando os equipamentos disponibilizados pela Escola Naval. SerĆ£o ainda desenvolvidos diversos cenĆ”rios para treino em ciberseguranƧa.
SerĆ” tambĆ©m abordada a visĆ£o do governo portuguĆŖs relativamente ao ciberespaƧo, relacionando as suas diretivas com a edificaĆ§Ć£o de novas estruturas e de novos organismos responsĆ”veis pela ciberseguranƧa e pela ciberdefesa em Portugal.
A soluĆ§Ć£o construĆda constitui uma prova de conceito sobre o planeamento, a implementaĆ§Ć£o e a administraĆ§Ć£o de um cyber range, que dadas as limitaƧƵes do equipamento disponibilizado, nĆ£o foi possĆvel de edificar. Esta Ć© uma soluĆ§Ć£o sim que permite a produĆ§Ć£o e recolha de dados relativamente ao trĆ”fico de uma rede e Ć ciberseguranƧa, assim como servir de meio de treino em seguranƧa ofensiva.
Society is going through what is known as the digital era, and it is very dependent on the use of the Internet. The Internet has become vital in several essential areas such as health, education, and the financial sector. The huge adoption of Internet use, which is almost total in the most developed societies, has also led to it being used to carry out criminal activities. As such, it is necessary to train specialists in cybersecurity and cyberdefence, providing them with the necessary resources for their training This dissertation will develop an open-source solution that will serve the purpose of a cyber range, using the equipment provided by Escola Naval. Various scenarios will also be developed for cybersecurity training. The Portuguese government's vision of cyberspace will also be addressed, relating its directives to the building of new structures and bodies responsible for cybersecurity and cyberdefence in Portugal. The solution built is a proof of concept on the planning, implementation, and administration of a cyber range, which given the limitations of the equipment provided, it was not possible to build. This is a solution that enables the production and collection of data on network traffic and cybersecurity, as well as serving as a means of training in offensive security.
