Background: During adolescence, alcohol consumption in recreational contexts increases the likelihood of young people engaging in unplanned sexual relations, as well as being victims or perpetrators of sexual violence. Purpose: Implement and evaluate the effects of a Health Education Program, developed for the adolescent population enrolled in a Vocational School, to increase their empowerment in making informed decisions when consuming alcohol, reducing the occurrence of episodes of sexual violence. Methodology: Based on the concern arising from the care provided in the school context, I formulated the research question “Are adolescents aware of their vulnerability to episodes of sexual violence after drinking alcohol?”. To answer the question, I developed a participatory action research, whose data collection was based on bibliographical research, document analysis, application of questionnaires and use of the “world caffe” group methodology. Final considerations/implications for the practice: The implementation of the Health Education Program “From Pleasure to Abyss” made it possible to raise awareness among adolescents about their vulnerability to episodes of sexual violence, after drinking alcohol in recreational contexts, as well as demystifying beliefs and myths that still culturally permeate society. In addition to the objective achieved in this research, it was gratifying to see the growing involvement of adolescents in interventions, which will be our entrepreneurial future. In the future, we will have to focus on raising awareness among those responsible for bars and nightlife spaces, as only then will we be able to involve the necessary entities to, together, design health promotion interventions.
