| dc.description.abstract | “Violência Sobre Crianças e Jovens e o Papel da GNR na sua Prevenção: Caso de Estudo da Zona de Ação do Comando Territorial de Aveiro” é uma investigação realizada no âmbito do mestrado integrado em Ciências Militares na especialidade de Segurança do Curso de Oficiais da Academia Militar da Guarda Nacional Republicana. Esta laboração pretende perceber o funcionamento da Guarda Nacional Republicana do Comando Territorial de Aveiro na prevenção do fenómeno de violência sobre crianças e jovens. De forma mais específica, este trabalho procura perceber como funcionam as Secções de Prevenção Criminal e Policiamento Comunitário do distrito de Aveiro e como estas se articulam com as demais entidades com competências em matéria infantojuvenil que desempenham funções ao nível da prevenção da violência infantil. Assim, este relatório de investigação é composto por uma introdução ao tema, seguido da Parte I do trabalho – dividida em dois capítulos de enquadramento teórico – que, em conjunto com a Parte II – dividida em dois capítulos que espelham todo o trabalho de campo realizado – e com as “Conclusões e Recomendações” constroem o corpo do texto. Seguiu-se um método hipotético-dedutivo para este caso de estudo com uma abordagem qualitativa. Nesse ensejo, a metodologia empregue permitiu perceber o fenómeno em causa, o funcionamento do sistema de proteção de crianças e jovens português e retirar ilações resultantes de vinte e uma entrevistas. Este trabalho veio permitir concluir que a Guarda Nacional Republicana de Aveiro, apesar das dificuldades logísticas e, principalmente, de recursos humanos que se sente, consegue realizar de forma exímia o seu papel de prevenção do fenómeno de violência infantil; conjuntamente com as Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens deste distrito que têm também elas um papel preponderante no sistema de proteção de crianças e jovens português. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | “Violence Against Children and Adolescents and The Role of GNR in its Prevention: Case Study of The Action Zone of The Territorial Command of Aveiro” is an investigation carried out within the scope of the integrated master degree in Military Sciences in the specialty of Security of the Curso de Oficiais da Academia Militar of the Guarda Nacional Republicana. This paperwork intends to understand the functioning of the Territorial Command of Aveiro of Guarda Nacional Republicana in the prevention of the phenomenon of violence agains children and adolescents. More specifically, this paper seeks to understand how the Secções de Prevenção Criminal e Policiamento Comunitário of Aveiro district work and how these units are articulated with other entities with responsibility in matters of childhood and adolescence that play a role in the prevention of child and adolescent violence. Therefore, this research report consists of an introduction to the topic, followed by Part I of the work – divided into two theoretical reference chapters – that, together with Part II – divided into two chapters that mirror all the fieldwork – and with the conclusions and recommendations, build the body of the paperwork. It was followed a hypothetical-deductive method for this case study with a qualitative approach. Hereupon, the employed methodology allowed us to perceive the phenomenon in question, the functioning of the Portuguese children and adolescent’s protection system and to extract the results from twenty-one interviews. This paperwork allowed to conclude that Aveiro’s Guarda Nacional Republicana, in spite of the logistical and human resources difficulties, manages to perform very well its role of prevention of the phenomenon of the infantile violence; together with the Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens of Aveiro district who also play a leading role in the Portuguese children and adolescent’s protection system. | pt_PT |
