Atualmente, as tecnologias de Realidade Virtual têm sofrido grandes alterações e têm sido uma aposta das empresas e instituições, sendo a sua aplicação feita um pouco por todo o Mundo, nomeadamente, no setor do Turismo.
No Património Cultural, a tecnologia apresenta-se como uma ferramenta essencial para uma melhor compreensão da história e oferecendo uma experiência diferenciada e inovadora ao visitante. A relevância da sua utilização, particularmente nos museus para os visitantes tem sido investigada nos últimos anos. No entanto, é necessário compreender a perspetiva dos visitantes.
Desta forma, esta investigação teve como principal objetivo compreender a perspetiva dos visitantes dos museus sobre a relevância da aplicação da Realidade Virtual no Património Cultural em Portugal, nomeadamente nos museus.
Como resultado, o presente trabalho conta com uma análise de conteúdo através de uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre a realidade virtual nos museus e da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas a visitantes em museus da região de Lisboa e arredores.
Os resultados indicam que adoção da Realidade Virtual nos museus desperta emoções positivas durante a visita, tornando-a numa experiência mais dinâmica, interativa e única para o visitante.
Currently, Virtual Reality technologies have undergone major changes and have been a bet by companies and institutions, and their application is made all over the world, namely in the tourism sector. In Cultural Heritage, technology is exercised as an essential tool for a better understanding of history and offering a differentiated and innovative experience to the visitor. The relevance of its use, particularly in museums for visitors, has been investigated in recent years. However, it is necessary to understand the perspective of visitors. In this follow-up, this research aimed to understand the perspective of visitors on the relevance of the application of Virtual Reality in Cultural Heritage in Portugal, particularly in museums. As a result, the present work has a content analysis through a systematic review of the literature on virtual reality in museums and through semi-structured interviews with visitors in museums in the Lisbon region and surroundings. The results indicate that the adoption of Virtual Reality in museums awaken in positive during the visit, making it a more dynamic, interactive and unique experience for the visitor.
