Abstract(s)
Job Crafting Questionnaire (Slemp & Vella-Brodrick,
2013), Work Limitations Questionnaire (Ozminkowski et al.,
2004) e o First Organizational Culture Unified Search (Van
There is little research aimed at providing empirical evidence on the impact of Job Crafting on Presentism in Organizations. In this sense, this study aims to understand how the characteristics of Crafter individuals affect presentism and whether the presence of the Innovation Climate and Culture in the organization has an impact on this relationship, according to this research model. The research instruments used were three instruments adapted into Portuguese from the Job Crafting Questionnaire (Slemp & Vella-Brodrick, 2013), the Work Limitations Questionnaire (Ozminkowski et al., 2004) and the First Organizational Culture Unified Search (Van Muijen et al., 1999). The methodology used was quantitative, with a questionnaire sent to the participants, who were asked about the characteristics of their work and how they feel on a daily basis. The study was attended by 168 individuals who responded to the survey online and voluntarily, with the majority being female (52.4%), with a degree (44.0%) and between 1 and 3 years in their current job (23.8%). Therefore, the results obtained revealed that workers are not involved and focused on their activities, due to the absence of a Climate and Culture of Innovation, which does not stimulate them; this is reflected in individual performance, leading to presentism and a lack of crafter behaviors.
