O presente documento constitui o projeto da investigação a realizar no âmbito do
2.º ciclos de estudos em gestão e estratégia empresarial.
Depois de se construir o quadro teórico que sustenta toda a investigação, tendo em
conta a problemática da gestão de carreiras, as suas políticas, práticas e processos,
apresenta-se o modelo concetual que se irá adotar aquando da realização do estudo. O
estudo, no qual se pretende desenvolver um plano de carreira para a empresa Gilconfer,
Lda, adotará a perspetiva de carreira sem fronteiras e o modelo adotado é o modelo de
construção para a vida.
A metodologia é de índole qualitativa, tratando-se de um estudo de caso que
recorre à entrevista semi-estruturada para recolher informação junto dos funcionários da
empresa, o que possibilitará a conceção de um sistema de gestão de carreiras adequado
aos objetivos organizacionais e aos objetivos individuais.
