Introduction: The functional and esthetic rehabilitation of endodontically treated anterior teeth is still a challenge due to the loss of tooth structure and, consequently, of strength and retention. Anterior teeth bear different occlusal forces than posterior teeth and are subject to lateral forces. Currently, there are several methods that meet the demands in the rehabilitation of anterior teeth. The placement of fiber posts is still considered the method of choice, however, with the evolution of adhesive techniques, endocrowns were introduced, although they are still little used in anterior teeth. Objectives: This review aims to provide an overview of existing literature information about current and future techniques for rehabilitating endodontically treated anterior teeth. Materials and Methods: Scientific databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect were systematically checked, and articles that addressed the different rehabilitation techniques for endodontically treated anterior teeth were selected. Articles in English from the last 10 years reporting rehabilitation with fiber posts and endocrowns were included. Articles were grouped according to study design, including in vitro and in vivo studies. Results: Studies with significant contribution to dentistry were found, choosing those that reported the clinical applicability of new rehabilitation techniques. The studies allowed drawing conclusions regarding the mechanical properties, namely strength and retention, that these confer to endodontically treated anterior teeth. Conclusions: It was evidenced that both methods analyzed in the different studies proved to be reliable and feasible, corresponding to functional and esthetic needs. Since there is no evidence to disprove conventional methods, it is the responsibility of the dentist to choose the technique best suited for the patient. Clinical Relevance: There is a need to conduct additional studies on new alternative techniques to combat the risks existing in the methods used today.
