O normativo legal que estabelece as formas de aplicação do regime da promoção da segurança e saúde aos órgãos e serviços da Administração Pública, ainda não foi implementado na Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP).
A Estratégia da PSP, para o triénio 2025-2027, vem reconhecer que o melhor e mais importante ativo da PSP são os seus profissionais. Apresenta como linhas estratégicas: a formação, a capacitação técnica e física, a valorização social e profissional do capital humano e reflete a necessidade de melhoria efetiva das condições físicas do trabalho bem como do reforço das respostas no âmbito da saúde mental, do apoio psicológico, da gestão do stress e da prevenção do suicídio.
Estas linhas estratégicas encontram-se abrangidas no âmbito da segurança e saúde no trabalho, quanto aos riscos que os trabalhadores enfrentam, bem como os efeitos adversos que poderão estar implicados, e destinam-se a proteger a força de trabalho, no presente e no futuro. A conceção teórica de um sistema de gestão de segurança e saúde no trabalho na PSP revela-se necessária face à importância para o desenvolvimento das Ciências Policiais, considerando o papel fundamental das pessoas que compõem a organização.
The legal regulation that establishes the ways of applying the regime for promotion safety and health in the organs as services of the public administration has not yet been implemented in the Public Security Police. The Public Security Police´s (PSP) strategy for the 2025-2027 triennium acknowledges that the best and most important asset of the PSP is its professionals. It presents the strategic lines as training, technical and physical capacity building, social and professional appreciation of human capital and reflects the need for effective improvement of work conditions and the strengthening of response in mental health, psychological support, stress management and suicide prevention. These strategic lines are covered within the scope of occupational safety and health, regarding the risks that workers face as well as the adverse effects that may be arise, and are intended to protect the workforce, both now and in the future. The theoretical design of a safety and health management system in PSP is necessary given its importance for the development of Police Sciences, considering the fundamental role of the individuals who make up de organization.
