Abstract(s)
A prestação de cuidados de enfermagem à pessoa em situação crítica exige da parte dos profissionais a capacidade de mobilizar conhecimentos e habilidades múltiplas para responder em tempo útil e de forma holística às necessidades do doente e da sua família. Foi esta a premissa sedutora do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica que culminou em três unidades curriculares de estágio nomeadamente Urgência – Creditado por experiencia profissional pelo Conselho Técnico-Científico da Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. José de Cluny, Cuidados Intensivos – realizado na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Cardiotorácicos e Opção – realizado na Unidade de Tratamentos Intensivos Coronários, todos os serviços no Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendoça. Pretende-se com este trabalho evidenciar o ganho de Competências Comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista e de Competências Especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na vertente da Pessoa em Situação Crítica, simultaneamente ao ganho de competências inerentes ao Grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
A descrição das ações desenvolvidas de forma autónoma e em complementaridade com equipas distintas ao longo dos estágios foi realizada através de uma análise crítica e reflexiva tendo por base pesquiza bibliográfica e em paralelismo com as Competências Comuns, Especificas e as de 2º ciclo de formação acima enunciadas.
Conseguiu-se assim documentar o ganho de competências pretendido nomeadamente nas áreas de prestação de cuidados de enfermagem especializados à pessoa a vivenciar processos complexos de doença critica e/ou falência orgânica dando ênfase ao doente com coronariopatia, na dinamização da resposta a situações de catástrofe ou emergência multi-vítima e na maximização da intervenção na prevenção e controlo da infeção perante a pessoa em situação crítica e/ou falência orgânica.
O curso na sua globalidade e com destaque as práticas em diferentes contextos da prestação de cuidados proporcionou o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional. Motivou o crescimento da necessidade intrínseca de procura do conhecimento científico no qual basear a prática e ofereceu a capacidade de aperfeiçoar o pensamento crítico e a mobilização dos conhecimentos. Proporcionou assim a oportunidade de aprimorar a prestação de cuidados de qualidade à pessoa em situação crítica e à sua família, de uma forma holística e promovendo a transição para uma situação mais favorável.
The provision of nursing care to the person in critical situation requires the ability to mobilize multiple skills and answer in a timely and general manner to the needs of the patient and his or her family. This was the seductive initial fact of the Master Course in Medical-Surgical Nursing that culminated in three curricular units of internship namely Urgency – credited professional experience by the Technical-Scientific Council of the Nursing S. José de Cluny, Intensive Care - performed at the Care Unit Intensive Cardiothoracic and Option - performed at the Intensive Care Unit Coronaries, all services at Dr. Nélio Mendoça Hospital. With this work we intend to highlight the benefit of Common Competence Nurse Specialist and Skilled Nursing Specialist Medical-Surgical in the strand of the Person in Critical Situation, to obtain the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing. The exhibition of the actions developed autonomously and in complementarily with different teams throughout the stages was carried out through a critical analysis and based on bibliographical research and in parallel with the common and specific competencies described above. It was thus possible to document the obtained in the areas of specialized nursing care for the person to be experienced deep knowledge of diseases and / or organic failure processes emphasizing the patient with coronary heart disease, in responding to catastrophic or multi and maximizing intervention in the prevention and control of person in critical situation and / or organic bankruptcy. The course in its entirety and highlighting the practices in different contexts of providing care provided personal and professional development. Motivated the growth of the intrinsic need for the search for scientific knowledge in which and offered the ability to perfect critical thinking and mobilization of knowledge. It provided an opportunity to provision of quality care to the person in critical situation and to his family, a holistic way and promoting the transition to a more favorable situation.
