O presente relatório tem como principal objetivo demonstrar o percurso de aprendizagem
decorrente da Unidade Curricular: Estágio de natureza profissional com relatório - Módulo II, que
integra o plano de estudos do curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de
enfermagem à Pessoa em situação Perioperatória da Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto,
com vista ao desenvolvimento de competências avançadas nesta área.
O estágio de natureza profissional com relatório - Modulo II decorreu em dois contextos distintos
na área do perioperatório num hospital especializado do norte do país, entre Setembro de 2023
e Janeiro de 2024. Tendo por base o regulamento de competências específicas do enfermeiro
especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica (Regulamento 429/2018, de 16 de Julho, 2018) na
área de especialização em Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória, os cuidados de
enfermagem nesta área são dirigidos aos projetos de saúde da pessoa e família/pessoa
significativa a vivenciarem processos de saúde/doença que necessitam de procedimentos
cirúrgicos e anestésicos em ambiente perioperatório, à promoção da saúde, prevenção de
eventos adversos e tratamento da doença. A complexidade do contexto perioperatório e a
necessidade da valorização da ação profissional dos enfermeiros e do seu processo de tomada
de decisão neste contexto, torna pertinente os esforços na sua representação.
Foram desenvolvidos dois casos clínicos na área da prestação de cuidados à pessoa em situação
perioperatória, atendendo aos contextos de realização do estágio e a áreas consideradas
relevantes. No primeiro caso clínico foi selecionada uma cliente submetida a mastectomia
parcial em contexto de Unidade de Cirurgia de Ambulatório e que abrange as diferentes áreas
de atuação do enfermeiro perioperatório: pré-operatório, intra-operatório e pós-operatório. O
segundo caso remete-se para uma cliente submetida a cirurgia reconstrutiva da mama e
desenvolvido com incidência nos cuidados prestados na Unidade de Cuidados Pós-Anestésicos,
atendendo à necessidade de incorporar no processo de conceção de cuidados todos os aspetos
que contribuam para a prevenção de complicações.
Partindo de uma perspetiva crítica e reflexiva, procura-se expor o percurso efetuado no
processo de desenvolvimento e aquisição das competências do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica à Pessoa em Situação Perioperatória, contextualizando as
diferentes atividades realizadas ao abrigo das competências comuns e específicas preconizadas
pela Ordem dos Enfermeiros.
This report aims to demonstrate the learning journey resulting from the Curricular Unit: Professional Internship with Report - Module II, part of the study plan of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the Perioperative Nursing area at the Porto Nursing School. Its primary focus is on advancing skills in this field. The professional internship with report - Module II took place in two distinct perioperative contexts at a specialized hospital in the northern region of the country, between September 2023 and January 2024. Based on the specific competencies regulation for the specialist nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing (Regulation 429/2018, of July 16, 2018) in the Perioperative Nursing specialization area, nursing care in this field focuses on health projects of individuals and families/significant persons experiencing health/illness processes requiring surgical and anesthetic procedures in the perioperative environment, health promotion, prevention of adverse events, and disease treatment. The complexity of the perioperative setting and the need to valorize the professional action of nurses and their decision-making process in this context makes the efforts pertinent to its representation. Two clinical cases were developed in the perioperative care area, considering the internship contexts and relevant areas. The first case involved a patient undergoing partial mastectomy in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit, covering the various perioperative nursing areas: preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative. The second case involved a patient undergoing breast reconstructive surgery, with a focus on care provided in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, aiming to incorporate all aspects contributing to complication prevention into the care conception process. From a critical and reflective perspective, the report aims to expose the development and acquisition of skills by the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the Perioperative Nursing area, contextualizing the different activities carried out under the common and specific competencies advocated by the Nurses' Order.
