Abstract(s)
imprevisibilidade gerada no actual contexto económico passaram a constituir factores
The increased complexity and competitiveness of markets and the unpredictability generated in the current economic environment constitute factors that increased the requirements for businesses. In this scenario, collaboration between companies forming collaborative networks was seen as a dominant theme in the management of the supply chain and has been recognized as a key factor for improving its competitive strength. Although the benefits of collaborative networking is becoming an appealing concept for enterprises, it is also recognized that this concept find in traditional organizational structures a plurality of barriers, descended from a very departmentalized vision and management practices focused internally, which leads many companies to a marginal position in defining strategies aligned with collaborative practice with partner companies. It is intended that the empirical study increase the understanding on the topic of collaboration and shows evidence on its practice in the wine sector, highlighting the factors involved in the maintenance of collaborative relationships between firms.
