Abstract(s)
O tema do presente relatório do projeto de investigação é o contacto com a
natureza e com elementos naturais e tem como finalidade compreender a importância
desse contacto e como o promover em contexto de creche e de jardim-de-infância.
Seguindo uma metodologia qualitativa e inspirada na investigação-ação, ao
longo dos estágios realizados foi-me possível conhecer os contextos e os intervenientes
da investigação. Os procedimentos de recolha de informação utilizados foram a
observação, as notas de campo que integram as conversas informais, as reflexões com
as educadoras cooperantes e os registos multimédia, a pesquisa documental e a
entrevista semiestruturada.
Nos contextos de estágio deparei-me com realidades diferentes, sendo que em
creche as crianças pouco contactavam com a natureza e em jardim-de-infância esse
contacto era regular.
As intervenções descritas e analisadas nesta investigação foram selecionadas
considerando a sua pertinência relativamente ao tema do projeto, dado que intervim no
sentido de promover o contacto com a natureza e com elementos naturais em ambos
os contextos.
Este estudo permite compreender a importância do contacto com a natureza na
infância, bem como os benefícios provenientes deste contacto para o desenvolvimento
das crianças.
The theme of this research project report is the contact with nature and natural elements and aims to understand the importance of this contact and how to promote it in the context of nursery and kindergarten. Following a qualitative and action-research methodology, throughout the internships carried out, it was possible for me to get to know the contexts and actors involved in the investigation. The procedures for collecting information were observation, field notes that are part of informal conversations, reflections with cooperating educators and multimedia records, documentary research and semi-structured interviews. In the internships contexts, I came across different realities, being that in nursery the children had little contact with nature and in kindergarten that contact was regular. The interventions described and analyzed were selected considering their relevance in relation to the project’s theme, since I intervened in order to promote contact with nature and with natural elements in both contexts. This study allows to understand the importance of contact with nature in childhood, as well as the benefits from this contact for the development of children.
