Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório do Projeto de Investigação foi desenvolvido no âmbito da
unidade curricular Estágio IV, do curso de Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino
do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Nele consta a descrição, reflexão e análise da intervenção
pedagógica desenvolvida numa turma de 4.ºano do 1.ºCiclo do Ensino Básico. Nesta
intervenção, as Assembleias de Turma e discussões de dilemas morais, são colocadas em
prática, tendo como principal objetivo: compreender de que forma é que as respetivas
metodologias contribuem para a Educação de Valores.
Este projeto tem como base uma investigação qualitativa conduzida pelos
princípios orientadores da investigação-ação, e foi realizado com o recurso às seguintes
técnicas de recolha de dados: a observação participante e a análise documental.
No decorrer da intervenção, foi verificado que, ao longo das discussões nas
Assembleias de Turma as crianças começaram por recorrer a determinados valores morais
ao sugerirem soluções para a resolução das situações em que estas estiveram ou não
envolvidas e, consequentemente, ao argumentarem as suas ideias. Já nas discussões de
dilemas morais, foi possível verificar que as crianças aprenderam a diferenciar as atitudes
certas das erradas, a partir do conhecimento dos diversos valores explorados, e do
reconhecimento da sua importância na sociedade.
This research project report was developed within the curricular unit “Estágio IV” of the master’s degree of pre-school education and primary school teaching. It contains the description, reflection and analysis of the pedagogical intervention developed within a 4th grade class. In this intervention, the class assemblies and the discussion of dilemmas took place with the aim of understanding the impact of these methodologies on the education of values. This Project is based on qualitative research methods which follow the guiding principles of action research and was carried out using the following data collection techniques: participant observation and document analysis. Throughout the implementation of the assemblies, the children started to resort to certain moral values when suggesting solutions to the situations presented as well as when forming their arguments and transmitting their ideas. Regarding the discussion of dilemmas, it was evident that the students learned to differentiate right and wrong attitudes from the knowledge acquired from the various values explored in the classroom and the understanding of its importance within the society.
