Abstract(s)
This study aims to analyze how human resources professionals reconcile the two spheres of their lives – private life and professional life. This implies the sharing of characterization in their professional life, the way they use time in the different dimensions of their daily life, as well as the well-being and personal and professional satisfaction and to analyze how work-life practices are perceived by these professionals. From the methodological point of view, the proposed objectives were achieved through a qualitative study. The information collection technique was used to interview a convenience sample of 10 human resources professionals, both male and female, from different organizations and different professional categories. In this study, 5 women and 5 men with higher qualifications were interviewed, and women hold, unlike men, the master's degree. They are employed in different sectors of activity and have different categories, and there do not seem to be great differences between men and women. With regard to professional characterization, the differences between men and women do not seem to be very evident, and it seems that men tend to perceive that they manage time better. It is notorious the existence of spillover (Matias e Fontaine, 2012), on private life and, in particular on leisure, tendily the most affected are women. HR professionals are biased, however, dissatisfied with the salary, considering it misadjusted to their responsibilities and it seems that organizational practices are still very targeted at individuals with children. It was noticed that biased, the companies of these HR professionals have little receptivity to the suggestion of factors that promote conciliation. It is denote that the answers of the interviewees were influenced by social desirability
