Este relatório resulta da realização de um estágio no Departamento de Recursos Humanos de uma empresa do setor de hotelaria, situada em Lisboa, como forma de conclusão do Mestrado de Gestão de Recursos Humanos.
O objetivo do relatório foi a avaliação do nível de engagement dos colaboradores de uma unidade hoteleira, algo que não tinha sido ainda realizado nesta organização, sendo premente fazer esta análise num contexto pós-pandemia, uma vez que este setor foi um dos mais afetados. Com base no Modelo Job Demans-Resources (JDR), foi analisado o nível de engagement através de duas escalas a Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, mais utilizado pela academia e o Employee Engagement Survey da Gallup, mais utilizado num contexto de negócio. Adicionalmente descrevem-se as atividades realizadas durante o estágio e é realizada uma apresentação sobre a organização na qual foi realizada o estágio. Por último, propostas de melhoria foram sugeridas, com base nos resultados obtidos nos questionários.
Após a análise dos resultados do questionário aplicado no hotel, concluiu-se que os colaboradores do hotel possuem um nível elevado de engagement, apesar de existirem alguns aspetos que podem ser melhorados, para que desta forma consiga aumentar o seu nível de engagement.
This report is the result of an internship in the Human Resources Department of a Management Company in the Hospitality Sector, located in Lisbon, as a way of completing the Human Masters. The objective of the report was to assess the level of employee engagement of a hotel unit, something that had not been done in this organization, and it is urgent to carry out this analysis in a post-pandemic context, since this sector was one of the most accomplished yet. Based on the Job Demans-Resources (JDR) Model, the level of engagement was analyzed using two scales, the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, most used by academia, and the Employee Engagement Survey by Gallup, most used in a business. Additionally, the activities carried out during the internship and a presentation about the organization in which the internship took place are described. Finally, improvement proposals were suggested in the results obtained, based on the results obtained. After a level of analysis of the results of the increase applied to the hotel, he concluded hotel employees have a high level of engagement, although they can be improved, so that they can generate their level of engagement.
