O estágio de natureza profissional do curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica, na
área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em situação perioperatória permite uma imersão no contexto
profissional e proporciona uma experiência pedagógica enriquecedora, de modo a compreender
o papel do enfermeiro especialista e a forma como contribuí para a melhoria contínua dos
cuidados, num contexto particular como o perioperatório, onde uma constante evolução
tecnológica e a produção de novas evidências nesta área exige uma persistente atualização dos
novos conhecimentos.
O presente relatório de estágio curricular constitui uma componente de avaliação para a
conclusão do mestrado, sendo um instrumento que viabiliza a reflexão sobre a consciência
profissional e sobre o desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro
especialista em Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica, na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em situação
perioperatória. Numa primeira fase do relatório é feita uma caracterização dos contextos
clínicos, sendo de seguida apresentados dois estudos de caso referentes à conceção de
cuidados centrada no cliente tendo por base o conhecimento formal e a experiência adquirida
em estágio. Por último será realizada uma descrição e apreciação das atividades realizadas para
desenvolver e aprofundar competências nos domínios da prática profissional, ética e legal;
prestação e gestão de cuidados; no âmbito da enfermagem médico-cirúrgica, na área da
Enfermagem à Pessoa em situação perioperatória. Este percurso de aprendizagem teve
implicações na prática profissional como, a capacidade de reflexão e de tomada de decisão, a
gestão da abordagem centrada no cliente, a prestação de cuidados de qualidade
fundamentados na melhor evidência disponível. , Este relatório pretende ainda contribuir para
desenvolvimento da profissão, com a reflexão realizada, a aprendizagem académica obtida e a
divulgação da mesma.
The professional internship phase of the Master's program in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the Perioperative Nursing area, allows for immersion in the professional context and provides an enriching pedagogical experience to understand the role of the specialized nurse and how they contribute to the continuous improvement of care. In a specific context like perioperative care, where constant technological evolution and the generation of new evidence demand persistent updating of knowledge, this internship becomes crucial. This internship report serves as an assessment component for the Master's degree, serving as a tool for reflecting on professional awareness and the development of common and specific skills of the specialized nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing, particularly in the Perioperative Nursing area. The report begins with a characterization of clinical contexts, followed by the presentation of two case studies related to client-centered care based on formal knowledge and internship experience. Finally, there is a description and evaluation of activities undertaken to develop and enhance skills in the domains of professional practice, ethics and legality; care provision and management, within the scope of medical-surgical nursing, in the area of Perioperative Nursing. This learning journey has implications for professional practice, such as the ability to reflect and make decisions, manage a client-centered approach, and provide quality care based on the best available evidence. This report aims to contribute to the advancement of the profession through the conducted reflection, academic learning, and its dissemination
