Abstract(s)
no mundo.
a antropologia e etnografia.
A presente investigação visa responder à necessidade
“Real World Research”. Esta análise consistiu na sintetização e
divisão do discurso presente no enquadramento teórico.
aprofundem e correlacionem as metodologias presentes nesta
realidades socioculturais.
Social Design has been increasingly present in design practice, even though it is evident the importance and need for a more careful approach to contemporary social problems that are certainly more complex. This ethical aspect provides conventional design with an awareness and notion of the impact that each project may have on the world. It integrates inclusive methodologies, such as codesign and design thinking, and adopts social science approaches, such as anthropology and ethnography. It focuses on the final user and its sociocultural context, in order to create the most suitable solution for it. This research aims to respond to the need identified throughout the dissertation process - the development, by the designs practice, of methodologies and approaches focused on the human being and on the resolution of real problems. Thus, it aims to prepare designers for more complex problems. Since the dissertation is based on a qualitative type of research and analysis, a set of good practice guidelines was developed. This set was created based on the methodology of Robson (2002), in the book "Real World Research", Content Analysis. This analysis consisted of synthesizing and dividing the content present in the theoretical framework. With the creation of this set of good practice guidelines, it is intended to guide designers, teachers and students towards a more ethical and conscious path and process. It is hoped that this will be the starting point for future researches that will expand and correlate the methodologies present in this practice, with the purpose of helping designers to develop projects that are conscious, empathic and adequate to sociocultural realities.
