| dc.description.abstract | O Pinus pinea L., é uma das espécies florestais mais interessantes, do ponto de vista comercial, assumindo um papel decisivo na economia das explorações agroflorestais.O trabalho desta dissertação, consiste na avaliação da aptidão do concelho de Carregal do Sal, com vista à sua capacidade de “proliferação” do pinheiro manso.Para fazer este estudo foi necessário executar trabalho de gabinete e de terreno, onde os Sistemas de Informação Geográfica (ArcGIS), têm um papel importante na classificação e análise dos dados.A classificação da aptidão dos solos, permite identificar as zonas favoráveis à plantação do pinheiro manso, realizando para o efeito o estudo e análise de muitos fatores e variáveis. A base de dados elaborada, contém muita informação que pode ser utilizada para outro tipo de estudos.Embora a viabilidade e a fiabilidade de um projeto sejam cruciais para assegurar a implantação de um estudo, este não pode ser entendido como único para uma avaliação final. Temos que juntar a este a importância da rentabilidade económica, tendo em consideração o período de retorno e a valorização do pinheiro manso, com os seus benefícios na valorização económica e ecológica do concelho e da região. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The Pinus pinea L. is one of the most interesting forest species, from a commercial point of view, assuming a decisive role in the economy of agroforestry farms.This dissertation consists of assessing the aptitude of the municipality of Carregal do Sal, considering its ability to “proliferate” the stone pine.To accomplish this study it was necessary to carry out office and field work, where the Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS) have an important role in classifying and analysing the data.The classification of the soils suitability allows the identification of plantation favourable areas for the stone pine, carrying out for this purpose the study and analysis of many factors and variables. The elaborated database contains a lot of information that can be used for other types of studies.Although the feasibility and reliability of a project are crucial to ensure the implementation of a study, it cannot be understood as unique to a final evaluation. We must add the importance of economic profitability, taking into account the return period (payback) and the valuation of the stone pine, with its benefits to the economic and ecological valuation of the municipality and the region. | pt_PT |
