Abstract(s)
Para cuidar de uma criança com doença crónica complexa, limitante ou ameaçadora de vida é
fundamental a existência de uma equipa formada e desperta para a complexidade destas situações,
facilitando a adaptação funcional aos défices, e a adaptação a múltiplos fatores pela envolvência
da criança e pais nesta fase do seu desenvolvimento.
Através da metodologia de projeto objetivou-se criar condições para a implementação de uma
Equipa Intra-Hospitalar de Suporte em Cuidados Paliativos Pediátricos, inserido na linha de
investigação ‘necessidades em cuidados de enfermagem em populações específicas’. Como
produto final resultou o desenvolvimento de atividades e estratégias para a implementação da
equipa, nomeadamente a construção de uma proposta de regulamento que visa orientar e planear
o funcionamento da mesma.
A elaboração do Relatório de Estágio foi o resultado de um percurso formativo crucial na
aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em
Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica e de Mestre.
In order to take care of a child with a chronic complex disease, limiting or life-threatening, it is of vital importance the contribution of a team specifically educated and fully aware of the complexity of these situations, facilitating the functional adaptation to deficits, and that can provide the parents with the necessary adaptation to multiple factors at this stage of their child’s development. Through the project methodology my aim was to create conditions to the implementation of an Intra-Hospital Support Team in Pediatric Palliative Care, inserted in the research line ‘needs in nursing care in specific populations’. The final outcome of these essay resulted in the development of activities and strategies for the implementation of these specific teams, namely the compilation of a proposal of regulation which aspires to guide and plan their work. The elaboration of the Internship Report was the result of a crucial training formation in the acquisition and development of common and specific competences of the Nursing Specialist in Child Pediatric and Master Health Nursing.
