Abstract(s)
Este relatório pretende descrever e analisar de forma reflexiva as atividades desenvolvi-
das durante o percurso de estágio, com base nas filosofias dos cuidados centrados na família
e dos cuidados atraumáticos e na teoria do conforto, de forma a evidenciar a aquisição de
competências de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediatrica e de
Mestre.
A problemática abordada foi a prevenção das lesões de pele associadas à utilização de
adesivos médicos (Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injury - MARSI) em pediatria.
As MARSI são um fenómeno significativo em pediatria pelas características da pele das
crianças. A elas está associada a dor, cicatrizes e risco de infeção. A prevenção das MARSI
é considerada como um indicador da qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem.
O projeto desenvolvido teve por base a metodologia de projeto. Os resultados obtidos
contribuíram para a prevenção das MARSI e para a melhoria dos cuidados de enfermagem.
his report intends to describe and analyze in a reflexive way, based on the family centered care and the atraumatic care philosophies, and also based on the comfort theory, the activities develo- ped during the internship, in order to demonstrate the competencies acquired related to Nurse Specia- list in Child and Pediatric Health and to obtain a Master degree. The problem addressed was the Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injury (MARSI) in pedia- trics. MARSI are a significant phenomenon in pediatrics due to the characteristics of the children’s skin. They are associated to pain, scarring and infection risk. MARSI prevention is considered a quality indicator of nursing care. The project conducted was based on the Project methodology. The results obtained con- tributed to MARSI prevention and for the improvement of the nursing care.
