A vivência de transtornos psicóticas acarreta sofrimento para a pessoa com doença mental e família. As intervenções psicoeducativas são eficazes para colmatar a necessidade de informação e apoio emocional das famílias e a sua implementação integra o Regulamento das Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica. O presente relatório de Estágio objetiva refletir sobre a importância das intervenções psicoeducativas em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental Psiquiátrica e descrever reflexivamente a aquisição de competências no Mestrado. O relatório baseia-se na Metodologia de Projeto e recorreu-se à Revisão Sistemática da Literatura para reunir evidência científica e elaborar uma proposta de cuidado acerca do fenómeno. A implementação de intervenções psicoeducativas pelo Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica promove o aumento de conhecimentos e desenvolvimento de estratégias adaptativas das famílias das pessoas com psicose. As metodologias adotadas possibilitaram a consecução dos objetivos propostos para o presente relatório.
The experience of psychotic disorders brings suffering to the person with mental illness and his family. Psychoeducational interventions are effective to address families' need for information and emotional support and their implementation integrates the Regulation of Specific Competencies of the Nursing Specialist in Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing. The present Internship report aims to reflect on the importance of psychoeducational interventions in Mental Health Nursing and to describe reflexively the acquisition of competences in the Masters. The report is based on the Project Methodology and the Systematic Review of Literature was used to gather scientific evidence and elaborate a proposal of care about the phenomenon. The implementation of psychoeducational interventions by the Nursing Specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing promotes the increase of knowledge and development of adaptive strategies of the families of people with psychosis. The adopted methodologies enabled the achievement of the objectives proposed for this report.
